Job Description
Park Lane Finance Solutions, in Staunton, a member of The Caton Companies, and is a licensed mortgage firm operating in the mid-Atlantic. We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager/Asset Manager who is highly organized, detail-oriented individual who is experienced in mortgage banking and loan servicing operations.

To provide professional, efficient and friendly service to all applicants, customers, retailers, dealers, vendors etc. for Maple Tree Rentals utilizing high-quality property management / asset management skills and techniques.

Essential Functions

1. Perform Rent to Own (RTO) servicing duties for MTR. Maintain customer ledger accounts. Post all journals, receipts, charges, and credits to accounts accurately. Post all new and renewing customer information.
2. Maintain customer delinquency and bad debt tracking systems. Review delinquency accounts frequently and conduct light collection duties by phone and mail.
3. Perform marketing and business development activities to explore potential RTO lease opportunities with manufacturers.
4. Manage the repossession and resale process utilizing MTR vendors and dealers.
5. Run office errands such as collecting mail, making bank deposits, and sourcing office supplies
6. Visit existing dealers to ensure satisfaction with the MTR RTO products and services and perform inventory and routine inspection activities on all assets.

● Ability to multi-task and communicate well both verbally and in writing.
● Must possess strong administrative skills and problem-solving ability
● Well versed in Microsoft Office suite of products
● Complete and submit computer-generated reports accurately and in a timely manner.
● Ability to operate basic office equipment such as copier, fax, computer, printer, typewriter, calculator and telephone.
● Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
● Ability to speak effectively with customers one-on-one or groups of employees of an organization.
● Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals,
● Ability to read and interpret standard company financial reports and pay close attention to detail
● Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
● Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
● Must be able to apply principals of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may occasionally involve minor deviation’s.
● Ability to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions.

Supervisory Responsibility None for this position

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel/ Driving
Need to utilize personal transportation for business purposes. Pick up office supplies, run to post office, bank deposits, etc. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Must have valid drivers license and automobile insurance coverage.

Job Requirements
Required Education and Experience
● High School Diploma or equivalent
● Minimum 1-3 years' work experience in an asset management/property management capacity showing attention to detail.

Preferred Education and Experience
● Associates Degree

Employment is conditional on satisfactorily completing all pre-employment requirements. Starting salary depends upon prior work skills and experience.
